Alan Moore on sexism in comics back in ye olde 1983.
Things may have changed a little, but it kind of sucks that women still take a back seat in mainstream comics. Even though we now have a Queer Batwoman and a Batgirl who-don’t-need-no-man-mmm-hmmm *sassy hand gesture* they’re still aspirationally Batman wannabes.
